Many of you ask us why there is so much vibration with the Air-X wind turbine at high winds.
The answer is that the wind turbine is not perfectly balanced and that can be easily seen by looking its rotor. The magnets and therefore their weight is not evenly distributed on the rotor.

At high wind speeds (high rpm) resonance appear which could even break down the generator and its blades especially when the auto-braking system malfunctions at high power output.
When this happens the wind turbine gets extremely dangerous if you are anywhere near.
Broken blades have killing force when they fly out, so keep out. They could reach above 2000 rpm before they break.
For your safety NEVER go close to the wind turbine at high wind speeds.

As for the extra noise Air-X makes at high wind speed, apart from the vibration noise, and assuming there is no other fault, it is aerodynamic noise. The blade’s edge could reach supersonic speeds.
In newer models most of the above problems have been overcome.
